Dorothy and Nick’s wedding took place at one of the most unique locations for a wedding – at a kid’s summer camp :). For that weekend, Club Getaway became a playground for just the friends and family attending the wedding. You have to admit, its rare to have a two day wedding program that includes water skiing, canoeing, tubing, arching, cooking classes, wine tastings and multitude of other activities.
We love weddings that we get to leave in a state of exhaustion and exhilaration because it was just THAT much fun! And this was definitely one of those days where we left just as excited as when we arrived. Being able to photograph two people who are truly, madly in love, can’t wait to get married and are incredibly kind and easy-going made things even better. Add to that a fantastic backdrop of hills and a lake, lots of excitement in the air, killer DJs and some 90s hip-hop, friends and family willing to dance all night long, and a bonfire with s’mores and it not surprising that we can honestly say – we love our job.
Dorothy and Nick – you guys are awesome and we loved sharing your day with you. Seeing your love and how much fun you were having and being able to capture that for you to look back upon in the years to come is a reminder to us that what we do is important and we thank you for that. From now on, every time Natalia and I hear House of Pain’s “Jump Around” we will think of you guys :)!!!
We love when our couple choose to do first look 🙂
Some guys are just born lucky 🙂
Have we mentioned that everyone got to enjoy a bonfire with live music (courtesy of Nick and friends) and s’mores. What a finish to a perfect celebration !!!
