Usually when I get to the bride and groom on the day of the wedding they are busy getting ready – this time they were busy making breakfast for the family that came from all over US to spend that day with them :). After a delicious breakfast we all went down to city hall. The Gods of waiting lines obviously likes Karen and Kyle as I have never seen such a short wait at City Hall – it literally took 10 minutes to get through the lines and into the chapel. The reception was at Savoy restaurant – which is a wonderful place with delicious food and a welcoming decor. Aside from the intimate atmosphere of the entire event that day, the highlight (aside from the company of course) had to be the really cool, custom made, pop-up place cards that Karen and Kyle designed for all their guests (myself included – yay!). The cards had beautiful cut outs of their favorite buildings in the New York City Skyline and some of you might remember that Kyle proposed with an equally fantastic pop-up book, which you can see from their engagement session.
Karen and Kyle – thanks so much for including me in your special and memorable day. I loved getting to spend time with you and your family and wish you guys an incredible life together and a fun and adventurous journey in Europe. Enjoy your photos and please keep in touch often!
