Roisin and Nick got married on a beautiful autumn day at the historic Montauk club and their entire wedding day was a blast!
This was my second time photographing a wedding at the Montauk club and it was such a pleasure both times. Love the venue! Roisin and Nick didn’t have a traditional “wedding party” but opted instead to surround themselves with a great group of friends that helped out and supported them and were fantastic “substitutes” during the wedding party photographs. Which basically is the same as having a great wedding party, without having to buy them matching clothes they will wear once ;). So, for all those lovely brides out there reading this – let your wedding party pick out their own clothes. Choose a color scheme if you must and let them run with it. I promise it’s less stressful, easier on your wallet, everyone ends up looking great and being comfortable and the photos look better! Win/win/win!
Roisin and Nick – thank you so much for letting be a part of your day and enjoy the photos.
Nick’s mom officiated the wedding! She is a criminal judge and it was a very special treat for her to “preside” over something other then a criminal case 😉
Montauk club has that “old world” warmth and elegance that few NYC venues can match…
My favorite dance shot of the wedding 🙂
Nice Work!
